Amazon manages eligibility and billing inside individual accounts. A birthday, an enrollment verification cycle and a paid renewal date may occur on different days. Public marketing copy cannot tell us which event controls your account.

What to check before your birthday

• The plan name shown under Manage Prime Membership
• Your next renewal date and expected charge
• Any request to re-verify higher-education enrollment
• Whether the standard monthly or annual Prime price would still be worth it

Prepare a fallback decision

Run the calculator at the standard Prime price as well as the discounted price. If the regular price does not fit your usage, set a reminder to review or cancel before the account's stated renewal date.
