How we calculate membership value
The formula is simple on purpose. Assumptions stay visible and editable.
Replacement value, not feature value
We count what a benefit replaces in the user's budget. Streaming is worth zero when it replaces no existing spending. Order-related savings come from the shipping fee, travel cost or time value the user would genuinely avoid.
Paid-year test
For trial-based memberships, the primary verdict uses a full paid year. A plan should survive the end of a promotion. The trial remains useful as a measurement period.
Published prices
Prices and eligibility are tied to dated official sources. We display the last-reviewed date and tell readers to confirm account-specific terms before acting.
No hidden precision
Outputs are estimates, not financial advice or guaranteed savings. We round values for readability and expose the arithmetic behind the result.
