Cancellation checklist

• Confirm that you are signed in to the correct Amazon account
• Open the Prime membership management area
• Read the next charge date and the effect on remaining benefits
• Follow every confirmation step until Amazon shows the final status
• Save the confirmation email or a non-sensitive screenshot

Do not rely on a reminder alone

A calendar reminder helps, but it does not change the membership. Complete the account action early enough to resolve a login or verification problem before the displayed renewal date.

If Amazon offers a plan change instead of cancellation, compare the new amount with your usage before accepting it. A discount is not automatically a saving.

For billing disputes

Plan or Pass cannot access orders, reverse charges or contact Amazon on your behalf. Use Amazon customer support for account-specific billing questions and avoid sharing payment or identity data with third-party publishers.
